The Farmhouse Chair

This chair with its modern geometric pattern is sure to be a unique touch to your house or yard. And while one might think modern means it has to be uncomfortable and non-functional, they look very comfortable! Personally, I like to pair modern with vintage elements for a more eclectic and relaxed look. Like the photo below,  these chairs would look great with an old farmhouse table - not because the name of the chair, although that's pretty convenient!

Brigitte Bardot - Oui Oui

Today's Pandora quick mix made me remember why I love Brigitte Bardot... And her name too (which may appear in my life way down the road).

Holy Gold!

I can't get enough of black and gold. So incredibly chic and glamorous, after all, gold is the color of champagne. You can easily revamp anything with these bold colors by using spray paint. I have painted countless frames, lamp shades vases, and furniture. - it's a cheap way to change any look.

I personally like to use a flat black with high gloss gold, but whatever finish you use, it will look fabulous! Don't like spray paint? Well, Martha Stewart has a line of amazing decorative paints with different textures and variations of gold, not to mention many other colors. Thank you Martha!

No More Procrastination!

After much deliberation as to whether or not I wanted to start a blog... here we are. I myself am an avid blog reader/skimmer and after recently purchasing a house and taking on many DIY projects, I decided the time has come to join in on the blogging fun. Since I love to spend my time making our home pretty - why not share it!

Aside from working on the house and of course working, I am also getting married next July, so don't be surprised if you see some wedding inspiration popping up now and then!
